About the event
Court service in civil proceedings is a way of informing parties about actions taken by participants or the court. The effective completion of this activity is an expression of protecting the interests of the proceedings’ parties and entails a series of legal consequences, such as initiating the running of deadlines specified by law. The lack of proper service can thus affect the efficiency of the judicial proceedings themselves.
The aim of the Seminar is to discuss the role of court service in judicial proceedings and its effectiveness of judicial proceedings based on the different models of court service used in different legal systems. Therefore, we invite representatives of the research community along with legal practitioners to participate in the Seminar. It is our belief that this event will create a great opportunity for discussion and sharing experience.
The Seminar is an event addressed to all persons dealing with scientific and practical issues related to court service. Due to its international nature, the invitation is addressed to representatives of academic centres on the international stage, as well as to legal professionals. The invitation to passive participation is also addressed to students and PhD students.
